Insurance and Accessibility

Helping You Understand and Access the Care You Deserve

Mental health care should not feel overwhelming or out of reach. At Refuge Mental Health, we are committed to making the process of getting support as simple and transparent as possible. Whether you are using insurance or exploring private pay options, we are here to help you understand your choices and access the care you need with confidence.

Refuge Mental Health works with a variety of insurance providers. We are happy to verify your benefits before your first appointment and explain what your plan covers. If we are not in-network with your provider, we can often help you submit out-of-network claims. Please contact our office for the most up-to-date list of accepted plans and assistance with verification.

Insurance can be confusing, but you do not have to figure it out alone. Our team can help you understand important details like:

  • Copayments and coinsurance
  • Deductible requirements
  • Pre-authorization needs
  • Out-of-pocket limits
  • What services are covered and how often

We will walk you through each step so that you can feel informed and prepared before beginning care.

If you prefer not to use insurance or your plan is not accepted, we also offer private pay options. We strive to keep our fees fair and transparent. You will receive clear information about costs upfront and can always ask questions before making a decision.

In certain cases, we may be able to offer flexible arrangements or assist you in finding additional support resources in the community.

Mental health care should be available to everyone. We believe that your ability to get help should never depend on confusing paperwork or hidden fees. That is why we are committed to helping you navigate your insurance, understand your options, and feel confident in the path ahead.
